AVANGAR defeated HellRaisers 2-0 to secure the WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 1 title.
The grand final affair commenced on Dust2, where a tumultuous start was witnessed. Dzhami "Jame" Ali reminded his opponents of his capabilities with a pistol round triple kill, ensuring a fruitful start to AVANGAR's CT side. A brawl ensued after HellRaisers had successfully upset the defence's initial momentum, but the European mix was unable to consistently maintain the lead accrued, concluding the initial half with a slight 7-8 deficit.
After switching over to the T side, AVANGAR were visibly more comfortable, winning five rounds in a row. HellRaisers were able to effectively reset the Terrorist economy after this development, but once more lacked longevity in their pursuit, with the CIS side locking down the map at 16-10.

On their map pick, HellRaisers found a dominant early footing on the offense off the back of a blunder on the part of AVANGAR, who were unable to convert a post-plant, running out of time to defuse. This opening allowed Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow and his men a leap to 6-0 as the defence struggled to keep their economy afloat. After sustaining a long string of losses, AVANGAR were able to shift the momentum in their favour, picking up the remaining nine rounds of the half to emerge with a 9-6 lead.
Domination continued for the Kazakh squad, as a further three rounds fell in their favour following a successful second pistol round. Upon securing rifles, HellRaisers managed to fend off their opponents, but faltered in the following rounds, leading to an economic upset. Exploiting their opponents' financial predicament, AVANGAR went on to secure map and series point. The European squad did their utmost in attempting to comeback, but a triple kill from Timur "buster" Tulepov in round 24 sealed the series at 16-8 the team's second LAN title in the space of a month.
